Delivery to an area

Edit

A delivery to an area brings stock from Stores to a department area (for example Battery Assembly). Anyone with access to that area can accept it. For the big picture see Move Orders.

Delivery to an area flow: create with an area, mover collects from Stores, drops at the area, an area member accepts

Step by step

  1. Requester creates the delivery. On Warehouse → Move Orders, tap New Delivery, pick the destination area, add the items (and quantities) from the picker, then Create order. It appears as Open.
  2. A mover finds it. On Warehouse → Bulk Pick, set the toggle to Delivery and pick the area. The screen lists every order line for that area that can be collected right now.
  3. Collect from Stores. On each item card tap Collect, choose the source bin (scan a bin QR or filter), enter the quantity and confirm. For serialized products, pick the specific serial(s). Collecting reserves that line to you, so two movers can split one order.
  4. Drop off. Once everything is carried to the area, tap Drop all I collected for this area — every item you collected for that area is marked dropped in one action. (You can also drop a single line from the order screen.)
  5. Someone with area access accepts. Open the order and tap Accept on each line. When all lines are accepted the order is Completed.

Notes

  • Only stock that genuinely exists in Stores is offered to collect.
  • A line stays reserved to the mover who started it for a short while, then frees again if untouched — so nothing gets stuck if someone steps away.
  • Asking for more than is in Stores is allowed (flagged amber); the mover collects what is available.
