Delivery to a person

Edit

A delivery to a person drops stock from Stores straight to the requester — there is no area involved. You create it by choosing the "Personal (no area)" option instead of an area. For the big picture see Move Orders.

The area dropdown labels this option "— Personal (no area) — not recommended —". Deliver to an area whenever one fits; a personal delivery should be the exception.

Step by step

  • Requester creates the delivery — no area. On Warehouse → Move Orders, tap New Delivery. In the "Deliver to area (recommended)" dropdown choose "— Personal (no area) — not recommended —". Add the items and quantities, then Create order. It is now a personal delivery to you, shown as Open.

  • A mover finds it under "Direct deliveries". On Warehouse → Bulk Pick, open the Deliver tab. Because the order has no area, it appears in the Area selector under a dedicated bucket: "Direct deliveries (to a person)". Choose it to list every personal delivery waiting to be collected.

  • Collect from Stores. Tap Collect on the item card, scan or choose the bin, enter the quantity and confirm (pick serial numbers for serialized items).

  • Drop off. Carry the stock to the requester and drop it — from the Picked tab, or from the order screen.

  • The requester accepts. The requester opens the order and taps Accept — the stock becomes theirs and the order is Completed.

Notes

  • The "Direct deliveries (to a person)" bucket only appears while there is at least one personal delivery to collect.

  • A personal delivery is only offered to collect when the items are actually in Stores and the mover has access to the Stores area.

  • Only the requester (the recipient) can accept their own personal delivery.
