A collection sends stock from an area back to Stores. The person who has the stock (the owner) collects and drops it off; a mover then accepts it into Stores. For the big picture see Move Orders.
Step by step
- Requester creates the collection. On Warehouse → Move Orders, tap New Collection, pick the source area, add the items in that area to send back, then Create order (Open).
- The owner collects. The requester — or anyone with access to that area — picks the stock from the area.
- The owner drops off. The collected stock is dropped off, ready for a mover to take to Stores.
- A mover accepts it into Stores. On Bulk Pick → Collection (or the order screen), the mover taps Accept on each line. The stock lands in Stores and the order is Completed.
Notes
- A collection can only move stock that is physically in the area.
- The requester collects and drops their own stock — no mover role needed for that. Accepting it into Stores is the mover's job.
- Open the order with the Open link on a Bulk Pick card to do the steps individually and watch the progress strip.
