Collection — sending stock to Stores

Edit

A collection sends stock from an area back to Stores. The person who has the stock (the owner) collects and drops it off; a mover then accepts it into Stores. For the big picture see Move Orders.

Collection flow: create from an area, owner collects and drops off, mover accepts into Stores

Step by step

  1. Requester creates the collection. On Warehouse → Move Orders, tap New Collection, pick the source area, add the items in that area to send back, then Create order (Open).
  2. The owner collects. The requester — or anyone with access to that area — picks the stock from the area.
  3. The owner drops off. The collected stock is dropped off, ready for a mover to take to Stores.
  4. A mover accepts it into Stores. On Bulk Pick → Collection (or the order screen), the mover taps Accept on each line. The stock lands in Stores and the order is Completed.

Notes

  • A collection can only move stock that is physically in the area.
  • The requester collects and drops their own stock — no mover role needed for that. Accepting it into Stores is the mover's job.
  • Open the order with the Open link on a Bulk Pick card to do the steps individually and watch the progress strip.
