Dashboard: the Admin tab

Dashboard: the Admin tab

What this guide covers

The Admin tab is a quick operations overview for administrators - stock-count progress, document-workbench drafts, and an HR snapshot. It's a set of summary tiles with links into the full screens.

Who sees it: it appears only if you hold an admin role - HR admin, an EDMS permission (QMS create/admin), or a stock-count manager/global-admin role. You see only the tiles your role unlocks.

What's on it

Management Overview (stock counts)

For stock-count managers/admins:

  • Area Unassigned - count of stock-count tickets with no area assigned yet, with a link to Manage Stock Counts.
  • Global Stats - org-wide counts of Unassigned vs In progress stock counts, with a link to view them.

Administration Overview (EDMS)

For EDMS (document) roles:

  • My Drafts - how many documents you have in draft, with Go to Workbench to continue them.

HR Admin

For HR admins:

  • Active Staff - total active employees.
  • Missing Photos - employees with no headshot, with a Fix Branding shortcut.
  • Upcoming HR actions - a tile listing probations and contracts ending within the next 7 days, each linking to the employee. Shows only when there's at least one.

Good to know

  • It's role-composed - two admins can see quite different Admin tabs depending on their permissions.
  • Every tile is a shortcut - the numbers are the headline; click through to act (Stock Counts, the EDMS Workbench, an employee profile, Branding).
  • For deeper HR work, use the dedicated screens - see the Human Resources guides.
  • Dashboard: the My Day tabthe Management Portal tabthe Calendar tab.
  • HR Health dashboard - the fuller "what needs attention" view for HR.
  • Stock Counts - the stock-count screens behind these tiles.
