Dashboard: the My Day tab

Dashboard: the My Day tab

What this guide covers

My Day is the tab everyone lands on — your personal home. It pulls together what needs you today, your live clock status, your personal shortcuts, and the work assigned to you. This explains each part.

Who sees it: everyone. The other dashboard tabs (Admin, Management Portal, Calendar) appear depending on your role.

The layout

The My Day tab top to bottom: Needs your attention (pending approvals, attendance warnings on you, EDMS documents to sign/review/approve - shown only when you have them); My day (photo, name, live clock status and a timeline ribbon of today's work and breaks); My stuff quick links (My Inventory, My Gear, My Assigned Equipment, My Store, My Leave, My Schedule, My Hours, My Incidents); My work (your Work Orders). Sections appear only when they apply.

The sections

🚩 Needs your attention

Appears only when you have something waiting. It can include:

  • Pending approvals — leave, custom-schedule and OT-cancellation requests waiting on you (or another chain manager). Opens the approvals queue.
  • Attendance warnings on you — warnings raised against you that you can justify within 24 hours (see Your hours and pay).
  • EDMS actions required — controlled documents you need to Sign, Review or Approve, with quick counts and a link to the right queue.

☀ My day

Your identity strip: photo/initials, name, your live clock-in status, and a timeline ribbon showing today's work and breaks so far. A quick glance at where your day stands.

One-tap shortcuts to your personal pages — these replaced the old "My Stuff" menu. You see the ones that apply to you:

My Inventory My Gear My Assigned Equipment My Store
My Leave My Schedule My Hours My Incidents

🛠 My work

The work assigned to you — for example your Work Orders — so you can jump straight into the day's tasks.

Good to know

  • Cards appear only when relevant — a quiet day shows fewer of them. An empty "Needs your attention" means you're all caught up.
  • It's a launchpad — each card links to the page that does the work.
  • Dashboard: the Management Portal tab · the Admin tab · the Calendar tab — the role-based tabs.
  • Your hours and pay: how it works · Apply for leave · My Schedule — the personal pages behind the quick links.
