When you change the paper or label roll in a printer, the printer needs to be told the new size. You do this by scanning the QR code stuck on the printer — it opens a simple page where you tap the size you just loaded. No print knowledge and no special permission are needed.
Why it matters: myWork uses each printer's loaded size to steer everyone to the right printer when they print a label. If a printer reports the wrong paper, people get sent to the wrong place.
How to change the paper size
Change the roll. Load the new label paper (or sheets) into the printer as usual.
Scan the QR code on the printer. Open the Scan button in the top bar and scan the QR sticker on the printer. The paper-size page opens for that exact printer.
Pick the size that matches. You will see picture tiles for each size the printer can take, showing the shape and the dimensions in mm. Tap the one that matches the paper you just loaded — the current setting is marked Now set.
Press confirm. A green button appears once you have tapped a tile. It names the size you chose — for example Yes — that's 100 × 150 mm. Tap it.
Done. The page confirms the printer's new size. You can close it.
If you pick the wrong one
Nothing breaks — it only updates what the printer reports, and it never prints anything. On the Done screen tap Pick a different size, or just scan the QR again and choose again.
Who can do this
Anyone signed in to myWork. You do not need a print permission — if you can reach the printer to change its paper, you can set its size.
Good to know
The tiles only show sizes that suit the printer's type — label rolls for a label printer, sheets for an office/laser printer.
This does not print anything and does not change any label design. It only records what paper is currently loaded.
The QR that opens this page is one of two on the printer's own label. The other one sets that printer as your default printer.
Printers and their labels are managed under Settings › Printing › Printers, and the label designs under Settings › Printing › Label Templates. Both need the Print Admin permission — but you do not need it for the paper-size page.
