The full org chart (HR view)
What this guide covers
The Organigram under People ? Human Resources is the company-wide org chart - the whole structure, not just one team. It's the same interactive chart as the manager "My Team" view, but starting from the top of the organisation.
Who can open it: viewing needs HR read permission. The Edit mode toggle appears only if you also hold HR write permission.
What you see
An interactive chart of departments, each card showing the department name, type, and its manager, with the people who sit under it. You can:
- Filter to jump to a department by name.
- Zoom and pan, and Fit to re-centre.
- Double-click a branch to drill in, and step back up to the root.
- Click a department to see its people.
Edit mode (HR write only)
With HR write permission, switch Edit mode on to restructure the organisation - reassign department managers and move departments around. These are the same changes you can make on the Departments tab of HR Settings, shown visually. Without write permission the chart is view-only.
Changes here ripple everywhere: the reporting lines you set drive the manager-scoped screens (Manage hours, Manage schedules, Leave report) and who can approve whom.
Good to know
- This is the whole company; the manager "My Team" chart (in Managers) is the same tool scoped to one manager's branch.
- Structure lives in HR Settings too - the Departments tab and this chart edit the same data.
