A read-only analyst for managers and executives. It answers how the projects are doing and why, how work flows through your team, where the time goes, and what was said and decided on a project or task, quoting the record's own chat. Read only. You need the Insights permission (administrators have it).
It sees exactly what you can see: the teams you manage (the whole organisation if you can view all tasks or projects), the projects you can open, and only project, milestone and task chats. Never direct messages or group chats. Numbers about a person are shown only for your own teams. Every chat it reads for you is logged under your name, and HR can see that log.

Ask it things like
- How is the portfolio this month? Give me the brief.
- Which projects are slipping, and why?
- What's going on with PRJ-000012? What was decided in its chat since Monday?
- How is my team doing? What's slowing us down?
- Where did our time go last month, by project?
What it can change
Nothing. It only reads. To act on what it finds (assign, rate, message someone, change a project) use the Managers co-worker or the page in myWork.
What it will not do
- read direct messages or group chats
- show numbers by name for people outside the teams you manage
- show contract values or customer names unless you hold the project cost / client permissions
- count time from before detailed task tracking began (14 Oct 2026); it says when a figure leaves something out
- present a person's figures as a verdict: low task time can be meetings, training or work that is not logged
Good to know
- It works as you. It sees only what you can see in myWork, and anything it changes is recorded under your name.
- Before it changes anything, Claude shows you exactly what it will do and waits for your yes. Read it: you are the one making the change.
- A refusal ("you don't have permission", 403) is a myWork permission question. Ask your manager; Claude will not try another way round it.
