HR Health dashboard

HR Health dashboard

What this guide covers

The HR Health dashboard is a single "what needs attention" screen for the workforce. It pulls the open issues across HR — compliance gaps, things waiting on someone, shortfalls, leave anomalies, and people approaching key dates — into one place so HR can act before they become problems.

Who can open it: it needs the HR Health report permission. Some payroll-readiness figures only appear if you also hold the salary-read permission; without it, that section is hidden.

How to use it

Pick a time window at the top (Today / last 7 days / last 30 days / a custom range). Everything below recalculates for that window. The dashboard is read-only — it points you at what to look at; you then act on the relevant screen.

Within a section you can narrow the list. On Compliance gaps you can filter by gap type — pick one or more (for example No work permit or No leave plan) to show only the people missing that item — as well as by employee and department.

What it surfaces

The dashboard is organised into sections, each listing the affected employees (and their manager) so you know where to follow up:

Section What it flags
Compliance gaps Missing or expiring required items (e.g. documents, schedule setup) — with a "critical" count.
Pending approvals Requests waiting on a decision, and how long they've been waiting.
Unauthorised weeks Closed weeks with hours still not authorised — a payroll blocker.
Shortfalls People who worked under their scheduled hours, and on how many days.
Leave anomalies Leave records that look off (by type) with a short detail.
Probation ending People whose probation is coming up, with days remaining.
Offboarding Leavers' last days, with their outstanding gear status.
Contract ending Fixed-term contracts approaching their end date.

(The exact sections you see depend on your permissions and the data in the window.)

Good to know

  • It's a launchpad, not an action screen. Use it to spot what needs doing, then open the right screen — e.g. Pending Gear Returns for offboarding gear, Manage hours for unauthorised weeks, the approvals inbox for pending requests.
  • Mind the window. A short window hides older items; widen it for a fuller picture before payroll or month-end.
  • "Unauthorised weeks" is the payroll gate — clearing those is what lets hours flow cleanly into a pay run.
  • Manage hours: authorise and decline your team's time — clearing unauthorised hours.
  • Pending Gear Returns — settling a leaver's equipment.
  • Manage your team's leave — clearing pending leave approvals.
