Some tasks aren't assigned to one person - they're pooled to a team or department, and whoever is free claims one. This is how shared queues (a crew's jobs, a department's backlog) work.
Spot a claimable task
Open Tasks ? My Tasks and switch the scope to Claimable. You'll see the open, unclaimed tasks pooled to a team you belong to. (A pooled task shows the team name instead of a person, and reads "unclaimed".)
Claim it
Open the task and press Claim. It becomes yours - you're now the assignee - and you work it like any other task: Start ? record output ? Finish.
Good to know
- You can only claim a task pooled to a group you're a member of.
- Once someone claims it, it leaves everyone else's Claimable list.
- If a pooled task sits unclaimed too long, the Orchestrator nudges the team and the manager so it doesn't fall through.
