Finding and understanding your tasks

Edit

Your tasks are the units of work assigned to you that aren't Work Orders - a job to do, with a clear start, finish and (sometimes) a score. They live under Tasks ? My Tasks.

Where to find them

Open the Tasks menu ? My Tasks. The list has:

  • A scope selector - My tasks (assigned to you), Claimable (team tasks you could pick up), Managed (tasks you run), Team (your whole team - managers only).
  • An Active / All toggle - Active hides finished and cancelled tasks so your real queue is what you see.
  • A search box - type a word from the title or a task number like TASK-000012.

Click a task's number or title to open it.

What the statuses mean

  • To Do - assigned to you, not started yet.
  • In Progress - you've started; the clock is running.
  • In Review - you finished it and submitted it; your manager is checking the result.
  • Waiting on sub-tasks - your own part is done, but the task is waiting for its sub-tasks to finish.
  • Done - closed (and graded, if KPI applies).
  • Cancelled - stopped; no longer active.

Priority

Each task carries a priority - Low, Normal, High or Urgent - shown as a small coloured chip (Normal shows none). Work the High/Urgent ones first.

The task page

Opening a task shows tabs - Overview (the ask - what to do), Output (the answer - what you did), Sub-tasks, and Activity (the chat + history) - plus a details rail on the right (status, priority, assignee, manager, target, grade).

Next: Doing a task - start, record your output, finish.
