The Sellable Catalog and Price Book is where you decide which products your company sells, and set their sell prices and price tiers. It is a desktop admin screen under the Products menu.
Prices and tiers are still stored in Unleashed for now, so adding or removing a product and setting a price pushes the change to Unleashed straight away.
Who can use it
Access is split into two permissions so you can let someone curate the catalog without seeing prices:
- SellableCatalogManage - add and remove products from the sellable list.
- PricebookManage - view and set sell prices, minimum sell price and the 10 tiers. This is the only permission that shows the price, cost and margin columns.
Holding either permission opens the page. A user with only SellableCatalogManage sees the list and the Add / Remove actions but no prices.
Open the page
Go to Products > Sellable Catalog. The list shows every product currently marked sellable, with a count of how many there are. Use the search box or the Filters button (by category) to narrow it down.
Add products to the catalog
- Click Add products.
- Search for a product that is not yet sellable.
- Click Add on its row.
This sets the product to sellable and pushes the change to Unleashed. The product then appears in the main list.
Remove a product
Click the remove (x) action on a product row and confirm. This marks the product as not sellable in Unleashed. It stays a product - it is just no longer offered for sale.
Set prices and tiers
For users with PricebookManage, each row has a Prices button that opens the price editor:
- Cost and margin are shown at the top (last cost, average landed cost, and the margin percent) so you can price with the numbers in front of you.
- Default sell price and Minimum sell price are editable.
- All 10 sell-price tiers (for example Distributor, Reseller, EPC / Installer) are listed with their names, ready to fill in.
Click Save and push to write the prices to Unleashed. Only the fields you change are updated; tiers you leave blank keep their current value.
Good to know
- Because this pushes to Unleashed, changes are live in the ERP immediately.
- The price, cost and margin columns and the price editor never appear for users without PricebookManage, so floor and stock users never see prices here.
