Organigram: your team's structure at a glance
What this guide covers
The Organigram under People ? Managers is the "My Team" view of the company org chart - an interactive map of the departments you manage and the people inside them. It's the quick way to see who reports to whom, find a colleague's department, and (if you have HR rights) reorganise reporting lines.
It's one of the Managers screens (People ? Managers), alongside Manage hours, Manage schedules and the Leave report.
Who can open it: any signed-in user can view their own team. The chart is scoped to you - it starts at the departments you directly manage and shows everything beneath them, not the whole company.
What you see
The chart draws your department at the top, with sub-departments branching below it. Click any department box to open a side panel listing the people in it - their names, roles and reporting lines. It's the fastest way to answer "who sits where" across your team.
The controls
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Filter departments | Type a department name to jump straight to that team in the chart. |
| Zoom ? / Fit / Zoom + | Pan and zoom around the chart; Fit re-centres and scales it to the screen. |
| Full org chart | Opens the whole company's structure (the HR-wide org chart) instead of just your team. |
| Edit mode | Appears only if you hold HR edit rights. Toggles on the controls to reorganise departments and reporting lines. |
Edit mode (HR rights only)
Most managers use the Organigram purely to look - and that's all the view needs. If you also hold HR edit permission, an Edit mode button appears top-right; switching it on lets you restructure departments and move people between them. Without that permission the button is hidden and the chart stays view-only.
Good to know
- It's scoped to your team. You won't see departments you don't manage here - use Full org chart for the company-wide picture.
- It's always live. The chart reflects the current org structure, so changes HR or you make show up the next time it loads.
- Nothing here changes pay or schedules. For those, use Manage hours and Manage schedules.
