My Cards — take, drop and hand off a card
My Cards is your self-service screen for company cards: take a card when you need it, return it when you're done, or hand it straight to a colleague. Open it from Dashboard → My Stuff → My Cards.
The screen is split into three groups, the same way the vehicle screen is:
- Cards you're holding — the cards currently in your custody, with their actions.
- Available to take — cards you're allowed and that nobody is holding.
- Held by others — cards someone else has (shown greyed out; you can't take these directly — ask for a hand-off).
Take a card
- Open My Cards and find the card under Available to take.
- Tap Take. The card moves into Cards you're holding — it's now your responsibility.
- Use it for the purchase (capture the expense with its receipt as usual).
You can hold more than one card at a time if you need to — just take each one.
Return (drop) a card
- On the card you're holding, tap Drop.
- Scan the location QR where you're leaving the card (a drawer, safe, office). This records exactly where it is for the next person.
- Done — the card is free again and the drop is logged with your name.
No location to scan? You can tap Drop without scanning — the card is still returned, but the drop is flagged "location unverified". Scanning is better whenever you can.
Hand a card to a colleague
Instead of dropping a card and having someone pick it up, you can pass custody directly:
- On the card you're holding, tap Hand off — a QR code appears on your screen.
- Ask the person taking the card to open their My Cards and tap Scan hand-off, then scan your QR.
- Custody transfers to them instantly — no drop-and-pick needed.
The QR is single-use and expires after about 2 minutes. It is refused if the person scanning it isn't allowed that card, or if the code has already been used or expired — just tap Hand off again for a fresh code.
Tip: scanning a card's own QR sticker, or a hand-off QR, also works from the global Scan button in the top bar — it brings you straight here.
