Documents co-worker

Edit

Finds, reads and summarises controlled documents in the EDMS (SOPs, policies, manuals, forms) and your own drive. It can start a draft for you. Publishing and approving stay in the EDMS.

Connector: myWork Documents · Skill: mywork-documents

Ask it things like

  • What's our procedure for returns?
  • Summarise POLICY-00090.
  • Draft an SOP for stock counts.
  • Throw away my draft SOP-00150.

What it can change

Creates a draft document, edits your own draft, comments in a review discussion you are part of, and discards your own draft (it asks for a reason; discarding is final).

What it will not do

  • publish, approve or release a document, or say it is live
  • present a draft or a drive file as the official procedure
  • invent a clause, a version or a document code

Good to know

  • It works as you. It sees only what you can see in myWork, and anything it changes is recorded under your name.
  • Before it changes anything, Claude shows you exactly what it will do and waits for your yes. Read it: you are the one making the change.
  • A refusal ("you don't have permission", 403) is a myWork permission question. Ask your manager; Claude will not try another way round it.
